Coffee was introduced to Papua New Guinea when it was brought over from Jamaica’s Blue Mountain in the 1920s.Coffee from this region is often described as a lighter, more acidic coffee with subtle hints of fruit, often compared to an apple. It is grown in two regions: the Western Highlands and the Eastern Highlands.
